US school market strategy

01 / Context

Funexpected Math is an early math app for kids aged 3 to 7, built by two mathematicians. It won Kidscreen's Best Original Learning App in 2025 and is pre-installed on demo iPads in Apple stores. Parents in dozens of countries already paid for it. The funded startup wanted more: sales in United States schools. That is a different business. Parents buy with a tap. Schools buy through budgets, committees, privacy reviews and a calendar that only opens a few times a year. A product can be excellent and still stall if it is sold the wrong way, to the wrong person, at the wrong time.

02 / System

I built the go-to-market strategy for the US. I sell to K-12 schools every day as Chief Growth Officer at Bookvending.com, so the plan came from how US schools buy in practice.
